3 Things to Sink Your Teeth Into
An instrumental jam, excellent programming, and a piece to stand the test of time.
This song is sending me into a blissful bedrock of a hermit’s authority and private, inspired, cozy-time joy.
I hope you are enjoying your Sunday, wherever you are.
This week I am recommending a small collection of deliciously juicy content bytes for you to crunch into with those creatively-hungry, holiday-snacking clackers and gummer-ums. Starting with that sparkle of a song I’ve already shared! I do hope you enjoy it. Let’s all let it wash over us together today.
Next up: Cathode TV
Cathode TV is a streaming service that live-streams an extremely well-curated selection of arthouse flicks most nights. They release their programming plans the day of, and it is always a bizarro treat. Keep an eye on their instagram to see what they’re gonna do, and hop on their website to enjoy great films.
Next up: Jim Henson’s–very personal of a passion project–Short Film, Time Piece (1965)
When Alan and I first saw this, we agreed we needed to watch it every day for a month. In all conditions of moods, etc. Really let it soak into our bones.
We didn’t complete the full 30 days, but we did try
and it was great
and while it is miraculously still available for the common pedestrian to consume, via this link I’ve provided, I highly recommend that you do.
In other news, my rabbit, Fi, turned Nine Whole Years old this week!
And he’s as spry and sweet and sassy as ever.
A hui ho,
Julia
Happy 9th Birthday to sweet Fi! 🥕🥕🥕🐰🥕🥕🥕🎂🎈
Thanks for the programming recommendation, and Hoppy Birthday, Fi!
