Album rec of the week:
I’d describe the album Blow by Blow by Jeff Beck as:
Funky guitar wizardry bopping along wagging & tickling my Achilles heel A new pair of linen bell bottoms makin’ their way from the shade of a grassy midriff, where kisses meet pages of favorite books, lain out Where dewy finger pads dwell on destined syntax, the notes drawing grins with wet teeth Toes digging into moist soil as patchouli afternoons blend into hoppy orange juice Bopping along wagging & tickling My Achilles heel dancing down driveways Neighborhoods smelling of smoked meats past drifting sounds of childhood squeals jumping through, into sprinkler treats Weaving through families on a Saturday afternoon to happy hour, downtown where the painted walls merge with long shadows of love twisting into sunsets, adoring embraces of memory, reaching for closer dreams of levity The moon rising, reflecting tomorrow's might
I hope y’all are having an expansive, beautiful Summer full of delectable sensations!
Are there any albums that have been tickling your fancy? I’d love to hear about them in the comments!

Aloha & mahalo!
oh yeah! Jeff Beck. He's been in my top 5 guitarists since the 60s. (yeah, I am a grandpa). I like his new work with Johnny Depp. But I hearken back to the Jeff Beck Group Rough & Ready album as my fave.
I had to look up patchouli, but now I'll associate it with orange juice. Got to re-visit my other favorite Jeff Beck albums --> Who Else!
